Debra Low-Skinner Priest in Charge

Debbie-at-GriefSeminar-3Nov13The Rev. Debra Low-Skinner has been serving SKK since Sept 2015, and officially became the Priest in Charge in Feb 2016. She is a native San Franciscan and currently lives in the South Bay Area. She has nearly 20 years of parish ministry experience, having served in parishes in California, Long Island, and Massachusetts. She is a people person and her ministry strengths include pastoral care, liturgy, teaching, preaching, spirituality, music, and parish administration. Before she was ordained, she worked for over 20 years as a communications systems engineer at Lockheed Martin. She is married to Don Skinner and they have two cats, Wellie and Trinity. (email)

Gordon Park-Li Senior Warden

sam150x150The Senior Warden is the “president” of the Bishop’s Committee, or governing board. Each year the Sr. Warden is chosen by the Vicar to provide leadership and to be a support for the Vicar.

Myrna Tsukamoto Junior Warden

Myrna has been a member of this church for almost 50 years serving as ECW president and treasurer, deanery and diocesan and the Asian ministry. She has been the Junior Warden since 2012 and serves on several search committees.

Mary Vargas Clerk

mary-250x250The Clerk of the Bishop’s Committee is the secretary for the Bishop’s Council.

Angela Dwyer Organist

Angela began working with Sei Ko Kai in 2010, having just relocated to San Francisco from bonnie Scotland. Previous to that, she had travelled extensively as a pianist with Holland America Line and provided valuable music education within the Scottish Education System. She holds over fifteen years of piano teaching experience and is involved in many musical productions, classes & performances around the Bay Area. Since being at SKK Angela has enjoyed hearing stories about the church’s history and learning new Japanese melodies to play for the congregation. More information here.
